About me

My name is Jerod Rockwell Mock, but im known as Rocky Mock.  1 out of 3 people i meet say "I have a dog named Rocky" in which my typical response is a bland "thanks."   I share my name with other peoples pets such as lizards, cats and even a mule.  And for those of you who dont know yes i have heard the song Rocky Raccoon and no i dont say Yo Adrian a lot.

Im a person who likes to take photographs, work with photographs and know other people who do the same.  Take a look at my pictures and feel free to give me feedback, and as always i am constantly looking to see other peoples photos as well, so dont be shy to share them with me if you'd like.

Story:

Jerod Rockwell Mock was born in Canon City to two cool parents, a cool sister and even a cool brother.  His cool ass Grandmother lived next door and throughout his childhood was raised from the ground up with the best supervision anyone could ask for.  I didn't really take photos as a kid, my family wasn't photography oriented and to be honest, i never knew a single soul who enjoyed the art itself.  So where i get the urge to take photos is as good as anyones guess, but it was in 2005 in which i begged my mother on a christmas holiday that that was all i wanted--a camera. My wish was granted and I went nuts shooting and taught myself what a good photograph was in my set of eyes.  Soon enough things began to churn for me and taking photographs is one of the biggest passions of my life.  Ive been labled a name "High class homeless" for my thrift store bought clothes, long hair and scruffy facial hair.  It comes as a surprise to many that my favorite things in my life are sports and photography.  I hope to add Traveling to this list as well.   Music is something i feel id be a very different person without and for anyone who knows, im a person who likes to get a laugh out of things.
